The TGT must design and conduct periodic tests, evaluate assignments, provide feedback, and maintain academic records. A TGT is also expected to maintain classroom discipline , create an inclusive and respectful learning environment, and motivate students to participate actively. Beyond academics, a TGT in English often contributes to co-curricular activities like debates, drama, and elocution to foster confidence and creativity in students. Finally, maintaining regular communication with parents, collaborating with colleagues, attending staff meetings, and engaging in professional development are essential aspects of the role.
