Role & responsibilities Develop short-term and long-term mine plans and schedules. Creating production schedules and timelines that outline the sequence of mining activities, equipment utilization, and Coal quality requirements. Knowledge of various clearances required for opening of coal mine Liaison with state and central govt. statutory bodies to get approvals. Able to create and modify 2D/3D models of mining sites using specialized software. Sound knowledge of Statutory Guidelines and Acts pertaining to Mining activities. Optimize Coal extraction methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs Coal quality planning of the mines and quality mapping of advance face. Perform economic evaluations and risk assessments. Ensure all mine plans comply with CMR (Coal Mines Regulations), CMDPA and relevant Health, safety, and Environmental regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance. Provide technical support to mining project & operations and closely work with consultants and advisors. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Project development and mining activities. Preferred candidate profile M.Tech/B.Tech in Mining Engineering from reputed institutes with 15-20 years of experience in Large greenfield Coal Mine development. Prior Experience in Mines Development, Mines Operations and Knowledge of Mines Planning (OC & UG) is must. Perks and benefits
