Seeking a talented Apigee SRE in Bangalore for a hybrid role (3 days in office)! Drive the reliability and scalability of our API platforms.

Intro:

What Experience is Mandatory:

• Proven hands-on experience with Google Apigee Edge (or Apigee X/Hybrid), including API proxy development, security, and traffic management.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools relevant to API platforms (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex production issues related to APIs and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services relevant to Apigee.
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).

What Experience is Beneficial but Optional:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for managing cloud resources and Apigee configurations.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE).
• Experience with other API Gateway solutions or API management platforms.
• Background in network troubleshooting and security best practices for APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
