The team is currently looking to expand its QE capabilities to meet the growing demand for the product. As a QA Engineer for the team, your main responsibility will be to plan and execute quality and testing activities to ensure the functionality is suitable for release to our customers. You will need to follow established protocols and best practices related to our quality standards. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing functional tests, participating in regression and other hardening activities before release, developing and conducting test plans and test cases, and ensuring the software meets product specifications and designs. You will also be involved in defect management using tools like JIRA and Zephyr, as well as testing REST and SOAP web services. Additionally, you will perform exploratory testing to identify and document defects, review defects and test logs to suggest improvements, write new test cases, document test data and results, write SQL queries, and capture UI properties using xPath or CSS locators. You will also be responsible for automating manual test cases using Selenium or API tools. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3+ years of experience as a QE engineer, with 2-4 years of experience in a similar position. You should have experience working with onsite teams to overcome time zone challenges, configuring and running functional automated tests, testing APIs (Soap and REST), and using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins, and GIT. Experience with testing Web Front-End Technologies like JavaScript and HTML, as well as a good understanding of source control tools (SVN/GIT) and working in an Agile environment, will be beneficial.,
