The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition, and deployment of hardware, software, and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. Your overall objective in this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks. As an Engineering Lead Analyst, you will serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders. You will provide direction for all firm-mandated controls, compliance initiatives, all projects within the group, and in creating a technology domain roadmap. It is your responsibility to ensure that all integration of functions meets business goals and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements. You will also recommend product customization for system integration, identify problem causality, business impact, and root causes, and exhibit knowledge of how your specialty area contributes to the business. Additionally, you will advise or mentor junior team members, impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, or facilitating services. You will appropriately assess risks when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. The ideal candidate for this role should have 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role, experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment, project management experience, and consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication. You should possess comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities, and related reporting to identify best practices, as well as demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills. Ability to work in a matrix environment, partner with virtual teams, work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative is essential. A proven track record of operational process change and improvement is also desired. For education qualifications, a Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The Re-engineering Manager accomplishes results through the management of professional teams and departments. Integrating subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, you will contribute to standards around which others will operate. This role requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function and coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Responsibilities of the Re-engineering Manager include managing one or more re-engineering teams, defining global re-engineering methodology and process, partnering with the Operating Committee to scope re-engineering opportunities within and across product lines, leading Lean reviews and engagements, promoting an Innovation culture, and providing day-to-day support of re-engineering teams and associated programs. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of relevant experience, be a Certified Lean Practitioner/Six Sigma Black Belt, have established process improvement experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Project Management, and a proven track record of evaluating current processes and envisioning ways to re-engineer processes to create value. Openness to travel is also required. For education qualifications, a Bachelor's/University degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
