Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer to manage and maintain the Ash Handling Plant (AHP) control systems at our thermal power plant. The ideal candidate will be an Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering graduate with over 5 years of hands-on experience in AHP control system operation and maintenance, and should be willing to work in rotating shifts. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure reliable and efficient operation of the control systems associated with Ash Handling Plant (AHP), including DCS/PLC/SCADA systems. • Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of all instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and control panels. • Perform real-time monitoring and diagnostics of AHP systems to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. • Troubleshoot and rectify control system faults, signal failures, and instrumentation errors promptly. • Support the integration and calibration of field instruments like pressure, flow, level, and temperature transmitters. • Coordinate with the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams for interdisciplinary maintenance and shutdown activities. • Maintain detailed records of system performance, calibration reports, and fault logs. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and environmental regulations. • Participate actively in system upgrades, commissioning of new instrumentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Be prepared to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Desired Profile: • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in AHP control systems operation & maintenance in thermal power plants • Strong technical knowledge of AHP control systems in thermal power plants. • Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS/SCADA systems (preferably Siemens, ABB, Schneider, or Emerson). • Familiarity with field instruments, transmitters, control valves, and loop checking. • Good understanding of electrical and instrumentation drawings (P&ID, loop diagrams, etc.). • Sound troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Strong adherence to safety and quality standards. • Good communication and teamwork abilities; ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. • Willingness to work in rotating shifts and respond to emergencies outside of working hours if required. Note: Ideal candidate should have good experience in Thermal Power Plant (Speaking in Telugu is must)
