• TMT Rebar Mill of 0.2 MTPA

• 4 X 8 mm Slit Mill Green Field Project

• 100 KL per hour ETP & STP Plant by Hyper Filtration Green Field Project.

• Project Management & Erection & Commissioning(Rolling mill -long product).

• *Rolling mill Conceptual, configurations, product mix

  and finalization with basic and detailed engineering.

• Commissioning of mills consisting of Horizontal Vertical configuration continuous mill having cooling bed with high-speed rotary drum, braking slide and twin channel.

• Coordination with site erection activities with site engineers.

• Trouble shooting problems during commissioning.

• Immediate solution to run the mill during commissioning.

• Incorporate in drawings design related problems in future projects

• Responsible for installation and commencing of a new rolling Mill comprising of HOT ROLLING(20),, Project Management, Execution, Design, Sourcing of Equipments, Operation, Q.C, Logistics .Managing of multiple Production facilities as well as execution of Steel Mill of two rolling mills. Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with collaborators.

• I served as Project Head (Engineering) for the entire service tenure in this. Major achievement during my tenure was erection & Commissioning of 02 Nos. Induction Furnace& three Strand. Con. Cast.

• Responsible for handling the Expansion of projects hot rolling TMT bar mill ( 510mm 3hi mill with 14 stand continuous)

• Responsible for handling the Expansion of projects CCM 6/11 two stand high speed 3.5 MPM, 110*110 with automation.

• Online hot charging conveyors designs, detailing and implements of high speed length 250 meters for Conveyor Caster to rolling mill.

• Responsible for Project planning, Engineering & Procurement coordination, site & construction management, vendor development.

• Ensure the regular meeting and preparation of MIS reports to E.D

Project Engineering :-

Steering the overall planning, scheduling and management of modernization & capacity expansion projects, ensuring completion of assignments within time and budgetary parameters.

Planning for materials, developing vendors to obtain timely procurement of materials and equipments to facilitate smooth production process.

Monitoring projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs, quality compliance and Manpower planning to ensure timely execution of projects.

Erection & Commissioning :-

• Leading mill project from layout finalisation to commissioning all the stages

• Study of layout , drawings before finalisation of project for the benefit to the company.

• Roughing mill hot charging conveyor, Turn table, Billet Transfer chain, Roughing mill.

Outlet Conveyor, Tilting table, Continuous stand, CCS1&2, Pinch roll 1,2&3, Drum and Disc Shear,

8 Stand block mill, Primary Cooling Box , Laying Head, Coil Conveyor, Mandrill, Coil Collector Compactor, up-ender and capstan complete leading of project

• Load distribution system and equipment placement

• Maximise output by Rechecking, analysis and finalised mill and equipment layout/drawing

• Guide civil team about drawing and layout during project

• Strong communication with Consultant, mill equipment supplier and contractor

• Mobilize and engage contractor team to get the individual task within project timeframe.

• The equipment ordering and follow up with vendor.

• Adherence to drawings and alignment and make protocol and documentation.

• Vendor and supplier management, bar chart, monitoring and analysis project reports.

• Executed assignments like water softening plant, thermax System, cooling tower , sand filter , hot water tank

• Automatic Rolling mill (20 tons/ hrs.)with TMT system 8mm to 32mm- implemented and improved the capacity of mill from 20 tons to 30 tons/hrs.

• Block mill 10 stands with coil handling system.

• Automatic cooling bed and TMT system of all RE-BARS mills.

• Automatic Section mill with 12 continues mill (light weights).

• Executing erection & commissioning of Lincoln Centralized Grease lubrication system for guides & chock bearing lubrication, followed by trial runs.

• Identifying project bottlenecks and undertaking corrective measures.

• Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe & timely execution of the projects.

• Erection and commissioning of equipment, followed by plant trial runs meeting targeted performance/ quality & quantity parameters and thereafter handing over for regular plant usage.

Man Management :-

• Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of the team to ensure efficiency in process operations & meeting of individual & group targets.

• Study of available manpower and their skills for right person for the right work.

• Skill development of available manpower by arranging technical and Motivational trainings
