Job Description: Role & responsibilities We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our team. The Architect will be responsible for designing buildings and spaces that are functional, sustainable, and visually appealing. This role involves concept development, preparation of architectural drawings, and coordination with clients, consultants, and construction teams to bring designs to life. Key Responsibilities: Develop architectural concepts based on client needs and site conditions. Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD/BIM software. Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations. Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other professionals. Conduct site visits and inspections throughout the construction phase. Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders. Modify and revise designs based on feedback and technical requirements. Prepare construction documents, schedules, and material specifications. Oversee and coordinate the work of junior architects and drafters. Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Licensed Architect (or working toward licensure) is preferred. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and materials. Excellent visualization and presentation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Attributes: Experience in [residential/commercial/urban planning/interior architecture/etc.] projects. LEED accreditation or interest in sustainable design practices. Familiarity with local permitting processes and regulations. Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work.
