Direct Responsibilities:

• Undergo comprehensive training in each function and task of the settlement and collateral management processes within Agency Lending.
• Work closely with the

  Pirum application

  , particularly in the context of Contract Compare and Reconciliation.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the

  billing process

  within agency lending functions or similar functional operations.
• Liaise closely with and provide an exceptional level of service to the Front Office.
• Manage all operational aspects linked to Principal Lending activities (Loan & Collaterals).
• Maintain quality relationships with respective custodians, external stakeholders like counterparties, and internal traders.
• Monitor exposures on client funds throughout the day and manage daily call margins with brokers and triparty agents.
• Ensure all loans booked by the Front Desk and collateral trades are settled in time, adhering to the settlement cycle.
• Resolve breaks in reconciliation in collaboration with the reconciliation team.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, seeing tasks through to completion.
• Ensure client and management reporting is completed within deadlines, without errors or delays.
• Perform all required control tasks for the process, double-checking and confirming task completion within deadlines, in line with daily checklists.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience working closely with the

  Pirum application

  , particularly in the context of Contract Compare and Reconciliation, is essential.
• Good understanding of the billing process within agency lending functions or similar functional operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with Front Office, custodians, counterparties, and traders.
• Ability to manage operational aspects related to Principal Lending (Loan & Collaterals).
• Attention to detail for monitoring exposures, managing call margins, and ensuring timely settlements.
• Proactive problem-solver for reconciliation breaks.
• High sense of accountability to see tasks through to completion.
• Ability to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
