Job Title: Camera Testing & Imaging Department: Image Technology Location: Noida Reports To: Functional Reporting Image Technology Department A) Purpose of the Position The primary responsibility of this role is to: Conduct comprehensive camera effect testing for HQ projects and monitor progress on all identified issues. Develop, localize, and maintain test cases and standards tailored to regional user preferences. Set up and manage the local testing environment. Collaborate with the Image Technology team to refine and enhance image aesthetics and camera effects based on user insights and market comparisons. B) Key Duties & Responsibilities Camera Testing & Comparison: Perform detailed image effect testing in local environments and compile image test and experience reports. Conduct comparative analysis between the new products camera output and competing brands in the region, with a focus on performance, clarity, color, and user appeal. Track improvements in camera features and confirm their effectiveness in the local market context. Capture and analyze user feedback on camera performance and provide actionable insights. Image Aesthetics & Retouching: Professionally retouch photos using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One. Apply creative image effects aligned with current fashion and beauty trends to enhance user appeal. Evaluate retouched images using structured feedback tools or questionnaires to assess user preferences. Understand professional image aesthetics and deliver consistent photo quality aligned with branding expectations. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Understanding: Work closely with the R&D and Image Tech teams to provide feedback and improvement suggestions. Act as a voice of the user, translating user needs into development direction for camera tuning. Stay updated on local visual trends, mobile photography culture, and selfie aesthetics to influence product direction. C) Skills & Experience Required Passion for photography, selfies, and image quality; keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Prior experience in smartphone testing, image processing, or as a beauty/fashion content creator is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office tools and advanced photo retouching software (Adobe Suite, Capture One). Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and timely execution. Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus. Educational or professional background in photography, visual arts, computer science, or content creation (blogger, photographer, mobile product KOL, etc.). D) Preferred Profile Self-motivated and proactive individual capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinker with strong aesthetic sense and understanding of regional beauty standards. Open to fresh graduates or students with demonstrated expertise in photography or image editing.

The Role We are looking for full-time Image Editors to join our busy online team Marketplace team here in Bangalore. Every product that goes online must be edited to a high standard as part of the go-live process. If you are highly skilled in Photoshop and have a good eye for detail, this could be the perfect position for you. Ideally, you will have a keen interest in clothing or fashion. Day to day you will be removing the backgrounds from images, removing any imperfections, transforming the image so it is symmetrical, colour corrected etc. You should be comfortable using the likes of layer masks, clone tools, liquifying and adjustment layers. There will also be the opportunity to edit other lifestyle images that come out of the photography studio. Also, as part of this position, there will be a requirement to help with other marketplace related projects in the office. REQUIREMENTS Proficient in the use of Adobe Photoshop Skilled at image editing Experience of Adobe Lightroom would be useful Able to work confidently at a reasonably fast pace Located or withing Commutable Distance to our working office within Bangalore.
