As a Multimedia Faculty at MAAC (Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics) in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in training and preparing students for successful careers in animation, VFX, gaming, and multimedia. With a commitment to nurturing creative talent, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and mentorship to students with a teaching or industry experience of 1-3 years preferred. Your key responsibilities will include conducting classes on graphic design, web designing, and related software/tools, mentoring students in developing portfolios and showreels, and providing constructive feedback on their projects. You will also assist students with technical and creative queries while staying updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in graphic design and multimedia to incorporate industry practices into teaching methodologies. In addition to training and curriculum delivery, you will monitor student performance, collaborate with the academic team for curriculum updates, and participate in workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and webinars. Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dimensions, Illustrator, Rush, Lightroom, After Effects, Premier, Audition, as well as web designing concepts like responsive design, UI/UX principles, Figma, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript will be essential for this role.
