As a Strategic Initiatives Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the newly formed Strategic Initiatives team. Your responsibilities will include supporting pricing and execution of internal and external reinsurance initiatives from an actuarial perspective. Additionally, you will provide strategic direction to key teams, such as methodology, governance, and modeling for transaction implementation. Collaboration with other teams, including Stat/GAAP valuation, model development, and assumption development for new product development/reinsurance activities, will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, price, and implement new flow and reinsurance transactions in partnership with Stat/Valuation and Finance. - Coordinate cross-functional teams, including model development, finance, and legal, in closing reinsurance transactions. - Assist in reviewing EBS valuation and stress testing results of inforce variable annuities businesses. - Collaborate with Investments on ALM Strategies for capital management initiatives. - Support assumption reviews and stress testing. Skills: - Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. - Effective Communications: Ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas accurately. - Managing Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives effectively. - Statistics and Actuarial Modeling: Knowledge of modeling tools and techniques for risk management decisions. - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Commitment to treating everyone with respect and dignity. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, and/or Actuarial Sciences. - FSA/FCIA qualifications (Fellow from IAI India or IFoA UK). - 7+ years of actuarial experience (10+ years in Life Insurance US Market, 3+ years in making reinsurance deals, merger, and acquisition). - Familiarity with reinsurance accounting or capital management. - Prefer knowledge of AXIS, Variable Annuity, and IFRS/USGAAP/US Stat/MCEV frameworks.,

Primary Responsibilities Understand and interpret the key drivers of health care trends; projecting expected revenue and cost Develop pricing methodologies and assumptions Conduct and evaluate studies on pricing, utilization and health care costs Perform mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling to provide management with statistical findings and conclusions Perform quantitative analysis of actuarial, financial, utilization and costs data Analyze forecasts and trends to help leaders make decisions Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement Lead analysts in to support and enhance the forecasting & reporting requirements of various clients Lead teams to deliver quality results against aggressive timelines and across multiple projects while maintaining process standards and controls Effectively define and manage deadlines for projects that help meet overall team goals Develop trusted and effective relationships with leaders in other areas of the company that we support Identify inefficiencies in process and models and proactively take steps to implement changes Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Engineering, Economics, or another related technical field from an accredited college/university 13+ years of total relevant work experience in HealthCare domain 5+ years of actuarial / analytics experience in the US healthcare market Experience building models using SAS or SQL or other programming system Understanding of statistical concepts and probability Advanced Proficiency in SAS (Statistical Analysis System) or SQL (Structure Query Language) or other programming system Proven solid written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with senior management
