Account Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role involves handling various accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the finalization of accounts and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• GST Compliance: Ensure accurate filing of GST returns, maintain proper records, and resolve any discrepancies related to GST.
• TDS and TCS: Calculation, filing, and reconciliation of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and TCS (Tax Collected at Source).
• Account Finalization: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Balance Sheet: Assist in the preparation and review of the balance sheet, ensuring all entries are accurate and in line with financial regulations.
• Audit Assistance: Support in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits, ensuring timely and smooth audit processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field; CA Inter/Final or other accounting qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in GST, TDS, TCS, and account finalization.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation laws and accounting principles.
