We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Functional Analyst of 8years to 12 years experience with a strong background in payments systems and account services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-value and low-value payments, regional schemes (EMEA/Asia), and account services, along with working knowledge of automation tools such as Cucumber BDD and exposure to AI-driven automation frameworks. This role focuses on functional testing, interpreting automation results, and identifying root causes of failures, which are then passed on to a dedicated automation team.Conduct end-to-end functional testing for payment systems, including high-value (e.g., RTGS, CHAPS), low-value (e.g., ACH, SEPA, UPI), regional payments such as EMEA (e.g., SEPA, TARGET2) and Asia (e.g., NEFT, RTGS, FAST), as well as account services like reconciliation and statements. Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed and traceable test scenarios and cases. Execute manual test cases and document test results. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Review and interpret failed test cases from automation tools (e.g., Cucumber BDD) and AI automation frameworks to identify root causes. Support regression testing, defect triage, and functional sign-offs. Ensure test coverage for integration, system, and UAT phases. Maintain a strong understanding of payment flows, validations, and settlement processes.Experience in functional QA roles, with mandatory experience in payments domain. In-depth understanding of payment ecosystems, high value/low value payments, clearing systems, and account services. Hands-on experience reviewing automation test results in tools like Cucumber BDD, Selenium, or similar. Ability to debug and identify root causes of automation test failures (without needing to write automation code). Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills. Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail Knowledge of AI Automation Framework / exposure to AI-Driven test automation platforms
