Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll, etc.).
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts.
Maintain chart of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards (GST, etc.).
Supervise bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Monitor cash flow, fund flow, and working capital requirements.
Handle treasury functions including investment planning and fund management.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for loans, overdrafts, and credit facilities.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, PF, ESIC, and other statutory returns.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Ensure all statutory compliance and regulatory reporting is up to date.
Analyse financial performance and provide insights for business decision-making.
Support management in strategic planning and risk management.
Develop internal financial controls and systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting;
Minimum 510 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and other accounting tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a team.
