Job Summary:

Key Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, Join, Partition by Key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup, etc.
• Good knowledge of advanced Ab Initio concepts including Continuous Flow, Plans, and other advanced features.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex, large-volume data warehouse applications.
• Working knowledge of source code control using Enterprise Meta Environment (EME).
• Strong experience in technical design (Mapping Specifications, HLD, LLD), development (coding, unit testing) using Ab Initio.
• Skilled in SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, and relational data model analysis.
• Proficient in UNIX scripting and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL development.
• Good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Ability to provide technical oversight and guidance to junior Ab Initio developers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain high-volume, multi-terabyte, 24/7 data warehouse ETL applications that are robust and efficient.
• Develop logical and physical data models and perform advanced ETL development using Ab Initio.
• Serve as a key technical contributor on complex ETL development projects involving multiple team members.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation to support development and maintenance activities.
• Lead the design and development of data warehouse solutions using various architecture, design, and modeling techniques.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into system flows, data flows, and data mappings, delivering solutions to complex business problems.
• Lead the creation of design review artifacts, facilitate design review sessions, capture feedback, and conduct detailed design discussions as needed.
• Coordinate with Release Management, Configuration Management, QA, Architecture Support, Database Support, other development teams, and Operations to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle for enterprise data applications, including production support and future development.
• Develop and enhance administrative, operational, and technical policies and procedures following best practices, standards, and guidelines.
