Roles and Responsibilities Operate VMC machine to produce high-quality parts with minimal errors. Read engineering drawings, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to program the machine accurately. Select appropriate tools and fixtures for machining operations based on part requirements. Handle instruments such as Vernier calipers, Micrometer, Height gauge, etc. with precision. Troubleshoot minor issues related to machine operation and report them to team leaders or supervisors. Roles and Responsibilities Read engineering drawings and create GD&T drawings for machining operations. Operate CNC machines (3 Axis, 4 Axis & 5 Axis) to produce high-quality parts. Program CNC machines using programming languages. Collaborate with team members to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime. Checks and inspects operation against drawings, process sheet. Setting up machines for production, monitoring and adjusting machine settings, performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities: Part Drawing reading, Understanding sketches, and design data to determine dimensions. Selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds and feeds to get better cycle times. Perform debugging and testing of CNC programs in the machines. Develop CNC programs on the machine consol manually for multiple-axis machine. Prepare, store and maintain program files in accordance with manufacturing change control process. Provide input on the purchase of all CNC related machine tools and programming equipment, to include information on controls, and aids in any testing required in the purchase of new CNC equipment. Maintain tooling data base. Perform cutting tools evaluations and new technology implementation. Develop Jigs and Fixtures to reduce setting time. Maintain status reports on production on a timely basis. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Make suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturing process and CNC program strategy. Inspect and measure using precision instruments. Required Skills: Conversant with Fanuc and Siemens controls for Lathe and Multi axis milling machines. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO standards would be an added advantage. Good oral and written communication skills in English. Teamwork and customer focus oriented. Experience and knowledge in understand toolpaths through the use of dry run test on machine.

We are looking for a hands-on, result-driven Machine Shop In-Charge to lead our CNC machine shop operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily machining activities, ensuring quality output, implementing process improvements, and maintaining safety standards. This is a critical role to support our precision manufacturing of complex valve components. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, coordinate, and guide shop floor activities and workforce. Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production targets. Develop and optimize machining processes, fixture/tooling/part programming (FTP). Conduct quality checks, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to QMS, safety, and 5S/TPM/Lean/Kaizen practices. Lead CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens) and prove-out processes. Drive productivity improvements using OEE and Industry 4.0 tools like TPM-Trak. Coordinate with internal teams (PED, QC, R&D) and external stakeholders (Customers, Auditors). Preferred candidate profile 5+ years hands-on experience in complex CNC machining (5-Axis, Turn-Mill, Mill-Turn). Expertise in CNC Programming (Fanuc/Siemens), MasterCAM , Tool selection , and blueprint reading with GD&T. Strong exposure to metrology tools CMM, Contour, 2D Height Gauge, Roughness Tester, etc. Familiarity with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and VSM . Experience with SAP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power-BI is an advantage.
