As a Visualization Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to import and manipulate Revit models generated from point cloud data in order to produce high-quality renderings and walkthroughs. Utilizing Blender and/or Lumion, you will be tasked with applying materials, lighting, environments, and camera animations to create visually stunning walkthrough videos and animation sequences for client presentations or marketing purposes. Additionally, post-processing of images using Adobe Photoshop to enhance visual output and video editing and polishing walkthroughs in Adobe Premiere Pro will be part of your daily tasks. Collaboration with the BIM team and project managers will be essential to ensure visualization goals are met, and maintaining a library of materials, assets, and rendering templates for consistency and efficiency is required. Your skillset should include proficiency in Blender for detailed renders and scene creation, Lumion for fast rendering and walkthrough generation, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator for image editing and post-processing, Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and walkthrough polishing, and basic Revit skills for effective model navigation and importation. A keen eye for lighting, composition, material realism, and visual storytelling is crucial in this role. To qualify for this position, a Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, 3D Design, Animation, or a related field is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in architectural visualization or rendering. A portfolio showcasing your rendering and animation work must be included with your application. Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include experience with Enscape, Twinmotion, or V-Ray, familiarity with digital twin concepts and BIM workflows, a basic understanding of construction/architecture principles, and knowledge of model optimization for performance.
