Generating quotes for clients and ensuring a smooth workflow is followed are also part of the role. Staying updated with industry knowledge is necessary to remain relevant in the field. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture, along with 5-8 years of experience in a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite is required, as well as strong creative, interpersonal, and communication skills. A solid understanding of design principles and the ability to execute them is necessary. Excellent knowledge of SketchUp and 2D/3D modeling, as well as experience in designing residential projects, are preferred qualifications.
