System Administrator

You will be responsible for designing, organizing, and modifying the computer systems at IMS Unison University. Your role will involve maintaining and managing the University's IT infrastructure, which includes servers, networks, and computer systems. It will be your duty to ensure the IT systems function reliably, provide technical support to employees, and implement security measures to safeguard the University's assets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and computer systems. - Upgrading and patching software and hardware to ensure optimal performance. - Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues for timely resolution. - Ensuring the security and stability of the IT infrastructure through the implementation of security measures. - Providing technical support to employees on IT-related issues and troubleshooting hardware and software problems effectively. - Implementing and managing security policies and procedures to safeguard the University's data and network. - Monitoring network traffic and identifying potential security threats for proactive response. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software to ensure seamless connectivity. - Managing network traffic and implementing security measures to optimize performance. - Participating in the planning and implementation of new IT systems, staying updated with the latest technologies, documenting system configurations and procedures, and collaborating with other IT staff and departments. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience as a System Administrator. - Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software. - Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security best practices and tools. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.,
