System Administrator

You will be responsible for providing technical support to users for both hardware and software issues that may arise. This includes managing the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems, monitoring the system daily to address security and usability concerns promptly, creating and verifying backups of data, as well as responding to and resolving help desk requests. Additionally, you will be required to upgrade systems and processes as necessary for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution, administrate infrastructure including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes, and review application logs. Installing and testing computer-related equipment will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience in system administration but not exceeding 4 years. You should possess knowledge of Windows Client OS (10) and basic understanding of Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019), MS Outlook, MS Office (2010, Office 365), remote access VPN software configuration, troubleshooting VC and projector related issues, LAN troubleshooting (printers, PCs, workstations, WiFi, LAN switches, EPABX, servers), managing inventory, and coordinating with OEMs and vendors for resolving IT-related issues. An associate or higher degree in a related field or relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, and VM Ware are preferred qualifications. Extensive experience with VMware, knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues, basic understanding of insurance goals and practices, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to provide IT support to an organization with 100-200 users onsite and remotely are essential. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required. The work location is in person.,
