Job Description

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team at Wits Innovation Lab, with 5-10 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and maintaining websites using WordPress.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient WordPress websites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Design, develop, and test website themes, plugins, and extensions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites.
Implement security measures to protect against common web attacks.
Optimize website performance for better search engine rankings.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP programming languages.
Experience with WordPress development frameworks such as WP-config.php and wp-config.php.
Familiarity with plugin development using PHP and MySQL.
Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques to improve website visibility.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
