Requirement : Immediate or Max 30 days This role is for a Windchill Developer with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions, specifically focusing on PTCs Windchill platform. The job location is flexible across multiple Indian cities Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai providing options for candidates based on regional preferences.The position is suited for someone who has deep knowledge in Windchill development, customization, and integration. It requires both technical and functional expertise in handling Windchills application interface and system configurations. Key Responsibilities :Windchill PLM Implementation (4+ years) :The candidate must have worked on full-cycle implementation projects, including planning, customization, deployment, and post-go-live support for Windchill environments. This involves understanding business processes related to Product Data Management (PDM), BOM (Bill of Materials) management, and product lifecycle control.Build and Deployment Knowledge :A strong understanding of the build lifecycle and deployment practices for Windchill systems is essential. This includes configuring environments and managing application updates, patches, and upgrades. Customization and Administration :The role involves hands-on customization in areas such as :- Workflows Automating processes for document handling, approval, and lifecycle transitions.- Access Control Lists (ACLs) Defining user and group permissions.- Lifecycles & InfoTasks Controlling product maturity states and related tasks.- OIRs (Object Initialization Rules) Defining metadata behaviors.- Action models & Webjects Configuring and customizing Windchill functionalities.Module Expertise PDMLink & ProjectLink:Candidates should be experienced in PDMLink (Product Data Management) and ProjectLink (collaborative product development), both integral modules in the Windchill suite. Technical Skillset :- Languages & Frameworks : Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript- Markup & Integration : XML, REST/SOAP Web Services- Development Skills : Customization of Windchill components, system integration with external tools (ERP, MES, etc.)- Tools & Platforms : Hands-on with Windchill 10.0/11.0 and experience in configuring the platform to suit business needs.Ideal Candidate Profile :The ideal candidate is a technically proficient and self-driven developer with strong problem-solving skills and a background in PLM system integration and development. They should be capable of working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
