Job Profile: Fixed Term Assignment role for Robowelding function - Storage Solutions at Chennai.

KRA:

1. Productivity in robot welding lines and autoweld lines

2. Reduce Robot and electrical related stoppages

3. Quality through process

4. Safety in Robot work area through HIRA

5. Cost control on consumables

6. Rework analysis through Quality process.

1. Improve existing robot welding equipment, develop new or modify current welding methods, procedures, to eliminate current welding defect phenomena.

2. Contributing and implement automation projects in robot welding stations.

3. Develop the control measures of machine process parameters and make the machine fool proof

4. Evaluates new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes.

5. Effective utilization of manpower to achieve targeted output and effective training the workforce of electrical related stoppage diagnosis

6. contribution in cost control projects on consumable reduction/ optimization.

7. Ensuring safe workplace and practices.

Requisite Experience:

Essential: 1-3 years in Production

Preferred: 2-4 years in welding (Mig / Mag) dept handling production including / Robotic welding (Yaskawa / Panasonic Robots)

Skills Required:

Essential
1. PLC knowledge

2. PLC programming

3. Robot programming Knowledge

4. Welding process knowledge

Preferred

1. Robot program teaching knowledge
2. Need to handle the robot welding station independently 3. Welding knowledge (Gmaw) 4. Yaskawa and Panasonic robots

5. Robotic welding / SPM welding

6. Ability of speaking regional language (Tamil)
