As a WebMethods Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using the WebMethods Integration Server. You will configure and collaborate with various components such as Broker, Universal Messaging, and Trading Networks. Your role will involve developing various services like Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapter Services. Implementing web services (SOAP/REST) and managing XML, JSON, JMS, and MQ protocols will be essential tasks. Additionally, configuring WebMethods adapters such as JDBC, SAP, and JMS for integration purposes will be part of your responsibilities. Your expertise will be crucial in performing data transformation using tools like XSLT, EDI, and related technologies. You will be expected to debug and optimize integration solutions to ensure performance and reliability. Monitoring integration processes through MyWebMethods Server (MWS) and related tools will be vital for the success of integration operations. Collaboration with business, technical, and end-user teams to define integration requirements will be a key aspect of your role. Creating detailed documentation of solutions, configurations, and processes will help in maintaining transparency and clarity within the team.
