Job Description

Diverse Lynx is looking for WebLogic Admin to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

Installation and Configuration: WebLogic Admins are responsible for installing and configuring WebLogic Server software on servers or virtual machines
They set up domain configurations, including configuring server instances, clusters, data sources, security settings, and other required resources
Application Deployment: WebLogic Admins handle the deployment of web applications and components on WebLogic Server
They package and deploy applications using deployment tools, manage application lifecycles, and ensure proper configuration and dependencies are met for successful deployment
Server Administration: WebLogic Admins perform routine server administration tasks, such as starting, stopping, and restarting server instances, managing server logs, and monitoring server performance
They monitor resource utilization, analyze server metrics, and optimize server configurations for improved performance and scalability
Security Management: WebLogic Admins handle security configurations and management for WebLogic Server
They configure user authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls
They enforce security policies, manage SSL certificates, and implement secure communication protocols
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: WebLogic Admins monitor the health and performance of WebLogic Server instances using monitoring tools and diagnostic logs
They identify and troubleshoot issues, analyze log files, and diagnose performance bottlenecks
They take proactive measures to address issues and optimize server performance
Backup and Recovery: WebLogic Admins implement backup and recovery strategies for WebLogic Server configurations and applications
They perform regular backups of server configurations, domain configurations, and application data
In the event of a failure or data loss, they restore server configurations and applications from backups
Patching and Upgrades: WebLogic Admins keep up-to-date with the latest patches, security updates, and versions of WebLogic Server
They plan and execute patching and upgrade activities, ensuring minimal downtime and compatibility with existing applications
High Availability and Load Balancing: WebLogic Admins configure and manage high availability features, such as clustering, load balancing, and failover configurations
They ensure application availability, scalability, and reliability across multiple server instances or clusters
