Web Designer - Intern

We are looking for a Web Designer Intern who can actively contribute to the design and visual improvement of our existing and upcoming websites. This is a real working role with responsibilities, but lesser pressure and expectations compared to full-time employment. Ideal for those looking to gain hands-on work exposure on live projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design clean, responsive, and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Create and update layout designs for existing websites and landing pages that are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
• Work on front-end layout modifications, ensuring mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Support the design of web forms and other interactive elements (buttons, sliders, etc.).
• Modify and update existing website designs, including fixing bugs and improving aesthetics.
• Work closely with developers to integrate design into live environments (mainly PHP-based).
• Maintain design consistency across fonts, colors, icons, and UI elements.
• Assist in basic UI/UX enhancements and make improvements based on user interface logic.
• Design simple banners, image placements, and other visual elements as required.
• Create basic structure for SEO-friendly page layouts and form designs.
• Support social media visuals and web graphic placements when needed.
• Follow web design trends and ensure designs are modern, fresh, and user-centric.
• Contribute to the overall design process and assist in gathering feedback for improvements.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Sense of design, spacing, color usage, and user flow
• Worked and hands on experience with tools like Canva, Figma, or basic image editing tools
• Willingness to follow design standards and instructions for real-time project work
• Understanding of PHP-based web layout structure (not coding, just alignment /design compatibility)

Eligibility: Students from BCA, B.Sc. (IT), B.Tech (IT or Computer) – 3rd semester onward or person with relevant background and experience are eligible. Must be currently located in Kolkata and ready to work from the office.

Note: This is not a training or coaching role. You will be working as an intern under guidance with lesser pressure than regular roles, but you are expected to deliver assigned design tasks independently.
