Oversee daily warehouse operations : Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes ensuring goods flow smoothly Inventory management : Maintain accurate stock records, conduct cycle counts and audits, investigate discrepancies, and manage FIFO/LIFO Logistics coordination : Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, liaise with suppliers and carriers, and resolve shipping issues promptly Team supervision : Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and compliance Safety and compliance : Enforce health, safety, and security protocols; ensure environmental and legal compliance . Facilities and equipment : Oversee maintenance of warehouse infrastructure and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety . Process improvement : Identify inefficiencies, implement best practices, and leverage systems (WMS/WES) for optimization Performance reporting : Track KPIs (e.g., inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, cost control) and prepare regular performance reports
