Management Information Systems Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to manage and oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Management Information Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting business data to support decision-making across departments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports and dashboards for management and various departments. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with departments to gather requirements and deliver customized reports. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all MIS reports. Automate report generation processes using tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in reporting tools or databases. Maintain documentation of reporting processes, procedures, and data dictionaries. Collaborate with IT and software teams for MIS software upgrades or new system integrations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or reporting roles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.). Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in [industry-specific systems if applicable, e.g., ERP, CRM, SAP].
