Wellversed is seeking a skilled VIDEO EDITOR proficient in operating After Effects, Adobe Premiere, video shoots, and product photography. As a VIDEO EDITOR, your primary responsibility will involve creating engaging and visually captivating video content that resonates with our brand's vision and goals. Your key responsibilities will include designing offline and online visual concepts, as well as video editing for web-based platforms and design materials. It is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of the digital video landscape, particularly YouTube videos, algorithms, and the significance of thumbnails. You will be tasked with producing short-form videos incorporating graphics, gifs, and special effects, and managing various stages of video production such as brainstorming, storyboarding, editing, and repurposing content. Additionally, your role will entail producing diverse video types like product walkthroughs, user-assist guides, and marketing videos, along with filming raw footage on-location and sets. Setting up equipment like cameras, lighting, and props for shoots, overseeing end-to-end video production, and adapting videos to different formats will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to review scripts to ensure alignment with video requirements. The ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of video editing experience and demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including After Effects and Premiere Pro. Familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D Animation is advantageous. Strong conceptual thinking, design skills, motion graphics, and animation abilities are essential. A robust portfolio showcasing your work, a good grasp of YouTube and channel management, and the ability to generate innovative video ideas are key requirements. Knowledge of computerized video editing applications and processes is also crucial.
