Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will lead a team of QA engineers, develop testing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, including functional, regression, performance, and automated testing. Ensure that all software releases meet quality standards and are delivered on time by conducting thorough testing and validation. Work closely with product management, development, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment on quality objectives. Develop and implement automation test frameworks and test suites. Create and maintain automated test scripts. Identify, analyse, and document test results. Collaborate with software engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans. Ensure software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. • Strong experience in online trading systems, payment processing, or related financial technology. • Expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies. • Experience with QA tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience in working in an Agile environment. • Strong understanding of security and regulatory compliance standards in financial technologies (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR). Desired Skills: • Experience with performance testing and load testing for high-traffic systems. • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and testing in DevOps environments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
