Video Editor

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Video Editor to join our dynamic news production team. The ideal candidate will have experience editing video content for digital platforms and broadcast, with a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual news delivery. You will be responsible for turning raw footage into impactful and engaging news stories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video footage for daily news segments, interviews, and special reports
• Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, and other post-production elements
• Collaborate with reporters, producers, and social media teams to finalize content
• Ensure videos meet the channel's editorial and brand standards
• Maintain an organized file system and archive for video projects
• Work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Stay updated with current events and trending formats in digital news
• Optimize video content for different platforms (TV, YouTube, social media, etc.)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a news or media environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and news narratives
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Good sense of timing, audio sync, and transitions
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics is a plus
• Degree or diploma in video editing, film production, or related field preferred

Bonus Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with news packaging
• Knowledge of social media video formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
• Basic camera handling skills
• Fluency in [English/Hindi/Punjabi/Other relevant language]

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,391.79 - ₹31,433.31 per month
