Video Content Creator

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to take on the role of a Film and Video Editor. You will be responsible for not only editing recorded footage but also capturing it through shooting. As a vital member of our creative team, your duties will involve both shooting and editing to create content suitable for broadcasting. Your responsibilities will include manipulating and editing film pieces in a seamless manner, understanding the production team's needs and specifications, reviewing shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scene value and continuity, trimming footage segments, assembling the sequence of the film, integrating music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, creating rough and final cuts, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running, collaborating with stakeholders from production to post-production process, and staying updated on new editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency. Requirements for this position include a minimum of 6 months of work experience as a Video Editor, solid proficiency with digital technology and editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut, demonstrable video editing skills with a strong portfolio, thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity, familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing, a creative mindset, storytelling abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field.
