Position: Vice President - Sales

Location: Ranchi

Experience Required: 12+ Years

Salary - 27 Lacs PA + 6 Lacs Incentives

Industry: Automotive (Preferred: Passenger Vehicle Sales)

Team Size: 150+ Sales Executives, 20+ Team Leaders, 5+ Sales Managers

We are now looking to further strengthen our leadership team with a dynamic and experienced Vice President - Sales who can take our sales operations to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership:

Lead, manage and inspire a large sales force to consistently achieve monthly and annual sales targets across all outlets.

  • Market Share Growth:

Drive strategies to increase market share in the region by penetrating deeper and expanding reach.

  • Manpower Productivity:

Continuously monitor and improve sales productivity through training, coaching, and performance management of the team.

  • Operational Excellence:

Ensure effective implementation of the sales process including enquiry generation, timely follow-ups, test drives (especially high-value vehicles), and closure.

  • Team Development:

Regularly assess skill gaps and implement structured training interventions to upgrade team capabilities and close more deals.

  • Data-Driven Management:

Leverage data and MIS reports to track key performance metrics such as enquiry conversion rates, showroom footfall, follow-up effectiveness, segment-wise performance, and more.

  • Customer-Centric Approach:

Foster a culture of customer delight with a sharp focus on experience from enquiry to delivery.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with Marketing, CRM, and Service teams for seamless customer journey and feedback integration.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:

    Minimum 12 years of experience in leading large-scale sales operations, preferably in automotive or retail industries.
  • Leadership:

    Proven track record in managing large teams across multiple outlets.
  • Dynamic & Energetic:

    A young, passionate leader who can motivate the sales team and energize the floor.
  • Analytical Mindset:

    Strong data orientation and familiarity with CRM tools, sales dashboards, and analytics platforms.
  • Communication:

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal teams, OEM stakeholders, and key customers.
  • Performance-Driven:

    Self-starter with a high-performance orientation and a passion to exceed targets.
