Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as a Vice President-HR, primarily responsible for overseeing HR operations and serving as a strategic business partner to various departments within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HR generalist functions as well as business partnering, with a focus on driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Role & responsibilities Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as best practices Manage employee data and HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times. Build strong relationships with departmental leaders and stakeholders to understand their business objectives and talent needs. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly. Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee development. Conduct regular audits of HR processes and systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs, including performance based incentive, health insurance, retirement plans and employee engagement initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, and recommend enhancements or changes to existing programs and processes. Preferred candidate profile 10-15 years of progressive experience in HR, with a strong background in end to end HR functions Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience in Banking / NBFC / MFI is a plus. Experience working with a start-up company is a plus.
