Job Title: Vault Backup Engineer L2 Level: 2 Employment Type: Full time-On payroll No of positions: 2 Years of Experience required: 3 to 7 Support Time: 9 to 6pm/Bank holidays, Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Vault (EV) Support Engineer to provide operational support and maintenance for the EV environment. The role includes performing daily health checks, monitoring archival processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Preferred Qualifications Certifications in Veritas Enterprise Vault or related technologies. Experience in automation using APIs for EV integration. Prior experience working in a banking or enterprise IT environment is a plus. Key Responsibilities Managed and maintained Infoscale Cluster & Enterprise Vault for archiving email, files, and other data types. Providing support for users who need help with using EV functionalities like email archiving, data retrieval, etc. Applying updates and patches to the system to ensure it is up-to-date and secure Monitor EV System health & Infoscale Cluster and performance to ensure smooth operation of Enterprise Vault. Address any system or storage issues promptly. Diagnosed and resolved complex system issues with the help of Support, including storage problems, archiving failures, and retrieval errors, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Worked closely with IT infrastructure teams to ensure Enterprise Vault was properly integrated with application & Storage. Ensure compliance and legal requirements. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in Enterprise Vault (EV) administration and support. Hands-on expertise in email and file archival management. Knowledge of Azure AD, Office 365 (Outlook, Teams), and storage solutions (Isilon, NetApp). Familiarity with SQL patching, VMware ESXi upgrades, and IT asset management. Strong troubleshooting skills in EV infrastructure components. Ability to manage incidents based on severity levels (S1-S4) and adhere to SLA response times. Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution. Excellent documentation and reporting skills (monthly reports, archival coverage, compliance tasks). Archiving failures, email archiving, data retrieval, Enterprise Vault, Info scale Cluster-mandatory Additional Information The role includes 24-month onsite support with structured SLAs. Candidate must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
