Job Title: Junior Engineer (Testing) Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India *Role Summary* The Junior Engineer is responsible for designing, writing, and executing test scripts using both manual and automated testing frameworks. The role requires using Selenium with C# as the primary coding language. The selected candidate will integrate test suites into the test management system, develop custom test harnesses, and handle various testing-related duties as required. The role reports to the Lead - Quality Engineering and will work closely with Product Management, Development, and QA teams. *Key Responsibilities* Develop and maintain test plans, test labs, and test cases for functional validation Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and compliance policies Perform functional, regression, and system testing. Collaborate with developers across all stages of the project lifecycle to ensure quality outcomes. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues. Work in an agile environment with quick release cycles and continuous feedback. Select test cases for automation from existing documentation. Design and implement automation frameworks according to project needs. Configure test environments (e.g., Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, IDE setups). Conduct debugging, enhancement, and execution of test cases. Monitor defect management process, handle change requests, and perform regression tests. Resolve issues related to object identity, errors, and test case failures. Coordinate with testing and development teams to resolve issues efficiently. *Required Qualifications* Education: Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field. Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. Skills: Strong experience in Selenium with Java or C#. Knowledge of testing techniques, principles, and heuristics for UI validation. Experience with test script development, defect tracking, and performance testing. Exposure to BDD, Hybrid, or Data-Driven Frameworks. Familiarity with API and database testing (added advantage). Experience working in agile methodologies. Certifications: ISTQB certification in Manual/Automation testing (preferred). *Mandatory Hiring Criteria* Hands-on experience in automation using Selenium and C#. Good communication skills. Strong background in manual testing, including: Understanding of testing concepts. Understanding of testing techniques.
