UI Developer

As a UI Developer specializing in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) at GyanSys, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing responsive user interfaces for web applications. With your strong background in front-end technologies and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud, you will be tasked with creating seamless, user-friendly interfaces to enhance our digital commerce platforms. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate designs and functional requirements into high-quality code. You will build and optimize UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React, ensuring integration with SAP Commerce Cloud features and APIs such as CMS components and SmartEdit. Additionally, you will focus on maintaining cross-browser compatibility, adherence to accessibility standards, and troubleshooting front-end performance issues. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 7 years of experience in front-end/UI development, with a specific emphasis on SAP Commerce Cloud for a minimum of 3 years. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks is essential, along with a strong understanding of working with RESTful APIs and microservices. Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines will be beneficial, as well as expertise in responsive design, performance optimization, and accessibility. Preferred qualifications include experience in B2B and B2C commerce implementations, knowledge of SAP Spartacus, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and exposure to cloud platforms like SAP Business Technology Platform. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) are expected from the ideal candidate.
