Description
As a UX Designer at our company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience across our website, mobile web, and Android/iOS app interfaces. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless user experience on various devices, considering that users may switch between devices in different situations. You will be tasked with suggesting, defining, and creating wireframes and mock-ups to improve the overall user experience of our sites and apps. In this role, you will need to develop prototypes for user testing purposes, gather feedback, and iterate over designs based on user input. Collaboration with developers to design efficient workflows will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also be conducting frequent usability testing in conjunction with the development process to continually enhance user experience. To excel in this position, you should possess 2-5 years of experience in UI/UX implementation for consumer products, with a preference for experience in the travel or hotel industry. Your portfolio should demonstrate a solid understanding of user experience design principles, UI best practices, and usability. Proficiency in corporate branding, layout, color theory, typography, and experience in mobile product design from ideation to launch are essential requirements. Additionally, having skills in animation, video, or storyboarding would be advantageous. A keen eye for aesthetics, a love for typography, and experience in conducting user tests on usability and workflows are qualities that will make you successful in this role. Knowledge of creating sitemaps, wireframes, flow diagrams, and other IA materials, along with an understanding of conversion metrics, will further strengthen your design capabilities.
