Title Structural Draughtsman - Buildings

As a Civil Structural Draftsman at Abstruse Consulting Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd., a Gurgaon-based Civil structural design consultancy, you will play a key role in the Buildings sector. With 4 to 6 years of experience in the field, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of structural components and buildings, adhering to the specifications provided by engineers and architects. Your primary tasks will include proficiency in using CAD software, understanding arch drawings, preparing framing plans, beam and column schedules, as well as foundation layout plans for pile, raft, and isolated foundations. You will be expected to create, modify, and update CAD drawings with accuracy and compliance with design standards. Collaboration with engineers and architects, active participation in project meetings for drawing discussions and revisions will be essential aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in structural drafting, including the use of AutoCAD and other drafting software. Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices is required, along with a keen attention to detail in creating drawings. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. A relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the construction industry, particularly in building projects, will be considered an advantage.
