Title Software Tester

You are a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester with 2 years of experience. Your role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. Your key responsibilities include developing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. You will also identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, perform manual and automated testing, and work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements. In addition, you will conduct API testing and database validation, ensure compliance with software quality assurance standards, and prepare detailed test reports. You are required to have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably in web and mobile applications. Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar is essential, as well as experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. A good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle, knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, basic knowledge of SQL for database validation, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also important. You will be expected to participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.,
