Job Description

As the Senior Manager, Finance with a focus on Technical Accounting and US GAAP, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting functions in alignment with US GAAP standards. Your role will involve managing complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements, and providing strategic guidance on accounting matters to senior leadership. You will play a key role in improving and maintaining the company's financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to stakeholders, and driving improvements in accounting processes and systems. Your primary skills should include budgeting, funding & finance management, technology finance including Opex/Capex treatments, technology accounting, and account level financials and operations in accordance with US GAAP. Reporting to the India Controller, your key responsibilities will involve managing accounting and finance operations of global entities, including the preparation and finalization of financial statements with multiple subsidiaries and multicurrency consolidation as per US GAAP. You will lead the month-end closure activities, oversee the technical accounting function, support integrated audit processes, and lead annual audits with big audit firms. You will be responsible for managing the flow of information and supporting documentation from various parts of the company to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Additionally, you will lead improvements to financial systems, implement new systems and processes for efficient functioning and distribution of financial information, assist with external reporting and required disclosures, and improve the financial reporting process within the organization. The ideal candidate should have a CA or CPA equivalent with 6-8 years of experience, preferably in a software or hi-tech industry. Experience in a public company or a big 4 audit firm, NetSuite experience, and familiarity with US GAAP are preferred. Strong leadership qualities such as customer advocacy, an owner's mindset, innovation ethos, execution with pace, big picture thinking, and winning through teams are crucial for success in this role.,
