As a key member of the team, your primary responsibilities will include leading the design and maintenance of code for Synactive's product lines. Your programming and design approach should align with C++ principles and object-oriented design. Collaborating with the product management team, you will contribute to the creation of new products. Additionally, you will liaise with the offshore development team. Your role will involve close coordination with development management to navigate compromises effectively, ensuring the best balance for Synactive's long-term strategies and immediate customer requirements. The ideal candidate must possess a balance between being a self-starter and a team player. This role demands managing multiple concurrent projects while delivering high-quality outcomes within stringent time constraints. Previous experience in developing software in technically complex and commercially successful environments is highly valued. A keen passion for organizational efficiency, design, and implementation is crucial. In terms of technical skills, a minimum of 5 years of C++/Visual C++ development experience is mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and/or Microsoft Visual C++ 6.00, along with Win32 SDK, will be advantageous. Knowledge of System Programming, including threads, sockets, and TCP/IP, is required. Familiarity with design patterns and object-oriented programming practices is expected. Knowledge of Java, AJAX, and SAP NetWeaver Portal will be considered a plus.
