This role will suit someone passionate about creating clean, modern, and functional websites while maintaining a strong focus on usability and performance. Strong communication skills are essential for this role as you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: Website Development : Develop, design, and maintain responsive WordPress websites that are fast, secure, and scalable. Custom Theme Development : Build or modify custom WordPress themes tailored to specific project requirements. Plugin Development & Customization : Extend website functionality by developing or customizing plugins. UI/UX Design : Collaborate on design to ensure visually appealing, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. Content Management : Optimize content management using WordPress’s features, ensuring SEO and user-friendly performance. Cross-browser Compatibility : Ensure websites are compatible across multiple devices and browsers for a seamless user experience. Client Communication : Work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and deliver solutions that meet their business goals. Troubleshooting & Debugging : Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues, ensuring optimal security and functionality. Ongoing Maintenance : Regularly update websites including plugins, themes, and WordPress core to maintain security and efficiency. Team Collaboration : Partner with marketing, content, and product teams to ensure web designs and functionalities align with brand goals. Required Skills & Experience : 1-3+ years of experience in WordPress development and design. Proficiency in WordPress : Including custom theme and plugin development, troubleshooting, and customization. Front-end Skills : Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Back-end Skills : Familiarity with PHP and MySQL for custom WordPress development. Web Design Proficiency : Experience with design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma. Responsive Design : Proven experience in building mobile-first, responsive websites. SEO & Performance Optimization : Knowledge of best practices in SEO and website performance tuning. Version Control : Familiar with Git or other version control systems. Strong Communication : Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and collaborate effectively with teams. Problem-solving : Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues. Project Management : Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Skills : Experience with the WordPress REST API for custom integrations. WooCommerce expertise or other e-commerce platforms. Website security best practices knowledge. Business Development Officer - (IT Industry) Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Market Expansion: Identify target industries and generate leads for the company’s IT products and services across multiple geographies (domestic & international). Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, cold calls, emails, and networking. Conduct market research to stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Sales Strategy & Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and satisfaction is achieved. Present and promote the company’s products and services, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Travel as needed to meet with clients, conduct presentations, and attend industry events. Team Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation strategies and contribute to marketing campaigns. Collaborate with internal teams for pitch preparation, quote generation, and proposal creation. Create and maintain detailed client meeting briefs after initial meetings with prospects. Handle client concerns and direct them to the appropriate team members for resolution after closing deals.
