Theatre teacher

Job Title: Theatre / Drama Teacher
Location: CBSE School, Sarjapur
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Performing Arts / Theatre / Drama or relevant field
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching theatre or conducting drama workshops in schools
Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of acting techniques, stagecraft, scriptwriting, and direction
• Ability to train students for school productions, drama competitions, and events
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for creative arts and working with children
• Familiarity with integrating theatre in education (TIE) approach is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular theatre/drama classes across grades
• Prepare students for annual day programs, inter-school competitions, and stage performances
• Develop creative lesson plans to build confidence, expression, and collaboration in students
• Collaborate with other faculty members during cultural events and projects
• Encourage student participation and creativity through theatre activities
