Supply Chain Operations: Ownership of the full spectrum of supply chain activities from procurement and sourcing to logistics and distribution. Ensure smooth operations across all phases to meet production timelines and customer delivery commitments. Technology: Functional ownership of Supply Chain Management (SCM) technology, including the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Work with the technology team for implementation, operations, and enhancement of SCM technology. Procurement and Purchasing: Lead the procurement and purchasing departments, forging strategic alliances with key suppliers and stakeholders. Negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms and guarantee a consistent supply of top-quality materials and components. Cost Management: Spearhead initiatives aimed at reducing costs throughout the supply chain while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Oversee budgeting and monitor operational expenditures to ensure financial objectives are achieved. Team Leadership and Development: Direct and develop the supply chain team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
