The role's primary objective is to create test cases and conduct testing of the product/platform/solution intended for deployment at a client's site, ensuring it meets 100% quality assurance standards. Key Responsibilities include: - Understanding test requirements and designing test cases for the product. - Developing test plans based on business requirements and testable criteria. - Implementing testing methodologies using Model-based testing for efficient test generation. - Collaborating with the development team to identify and document test cases. - Defining testing criteria, parameters, and scope, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Automating the test life cycle process using tools like vb macros, scheduling, and GUI automation. - Designing and executing the automation framework, along with reporting. - Developing and automating tests for software validation by setting up test environments, creating test plans, and executing test cases. - Reporting test defects according to project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns. - Identifying and reporting bug issues, along with preparing defect reports. - Ensuring no instances of work item rejection/slippage beyond Wipro/Customer SLA's. - Creating and releasing test status dashboards for stakeholders at the end of each test cycle. - Providing feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks to relevant stakeholders. Additional Responsibilities: - Regular status reporting and maintaining a customer-focused approach during testing and execution. - Ensuring high-quality interactions with customers through emails, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette. - Timely delivery of Work Status Reports (WSRs), Test execution reports, and dashboard updates in Test management repository. - Updating accurate efforts in eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers. - Promptly responding to customer requests and addressing any complaints internally or externally. Performance Parameters: 1. Understanding the test requirements and designing test cases error-free. 2. Efficient execution of test cases, on-time delivery, quick query resolution, and high Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
