Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to qualify smart home control and mobile applications targeted at the residential market. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for mobile (iOS/Android), web, and API applications to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for Flutter-based mobile apps using native and hybrid technologies.
  
• Create and manage test automation frameworks for Web and API testing.
  
• Execute and enhance existing automation scripts as per evolving requirements.
  
• Analyse test failures, identify patterns, and report issues to improve automation stability.
  
• Advocate shift-left testing and automation-first approaches.
  
• Participate actively in scrum meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  
• Apply sound knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
  
• Maintain test documentation and continuously improve automation frameworks.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  
• 4-8 years of relevant test automation experience, with minimum 3-4 years hands-on automation development.
  
• Proficient in Java and automation frameworks/tools like Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, Appium.
  
• Self-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

Good to Have:

• Experience in smart home automation or security system testing.
  
• Exposure to embedded automation frameworks.
  
• Testing experience with mobile and cloud-based applications.
