Technical Team Lead (Python AI/ML)

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Python.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or AI-based applications.
• Proficient in AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, OpenCV etc.
• Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Snowflake).
• Publications, open-source contributions, or Kaggle competition experience.
• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or generative AI models is a plus.

What is the work?

• Lead and mentor a team of Python and AI/ML engineers.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and end-to-end solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define project goals and technical specifications.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Architect backend systems using Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Review code, ensure best practices, and perform unit and integration testing.
• Monitor and improve model performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems as appropriate.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
