Technical Specialist - App Development

You will be joining Birlasoft as a Genio OpenText ETL Developer. Birlasoft is a global leader in Cloud, AI, and Digital technologies, known for its domain expertise and enterprise solutions. As a Genio OpenText ETL Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows to support data integration and migration projects. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using OpenText Genio. You will collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to integrate data from various sources. You will optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability, perform data quality checks, ensure data integrity throughout the ETL process, and troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues. Additionally, you will document ETL processes, maintain technical documentation, and provide support and guidance to junior ETL developers. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You must have proven experience as an ETL Developer, focusing on OpenText Genio, and possess strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing. Proficiency in SQL, experience with database management systems, familiarity with data modeling and data mapping techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this position. Preferred qualifications include experience with other ETL tools and technologies and knowledge of Agile development methodologies.,
